Still awesome
It's about 7 years ago I bought a plasma ball like this. Today it is about 1/5 of the price but it still has that "oooh" effect on people - much more so than any other sub-$[..] item you'll find. The ability to respond to sound adds to the coolness factor but on this particular model you cannot adjust the sensitivity as is common on others: Too quiet and it's off all the time; too loud and it is on all the time. Hence only 4 stars.More detail ...
